'Oxford and Cambridge Boat 1948'
Black and white framed photograph of the university boat race in 1948, taken at the first mile post. Cambridge won the race by 5 lengths in record time.
The photograph shows two eights, with umpire and press boats following. In the background (on the bank) is Blakes Wharves.
Oxford blue blazer.
Single-breasted navy-blue blazer with navy-blue lining. Three navy-blue buttons. Three navy-blue buttons on each cuff. A sew-on lable on the inside front left.

Two black and white photographs mounted in a frame, showing the Oxford crew who won the University Boat Race in 1928.
The photographs are mounted in a landscape format, next to each other the left hand photograph shows the crew in their boat, behind which are larger boats full of spectators.
The photograph on the right shows the crew posing for the picture on a bench. The mount features the title at the centre top in embellished, decorative writing; between the two photographs is drawn a flag and the number of lengths by which they won the length (1½). The names of the crew and coach are beneath.
