Two black and white photographs mounted in a frame, showing the Oxford crew who won the University Boat Race in 1928.
The photographs are mounted in a landscape format, next to each other the left hand photograph shows the crew in their boat, behind which are larger boats full of spectators.
The photograph on the right shows the crew posing for the picture on a bench. The mount features the title at the centre top in embellished, decorative writing; between the two photographs is drawn a flag and the number of lengths by which they won the length (1½). The names of the crew and coach are beneath.
