Remenham Rowing Club badge 1987.
A gold coloured metal badge, circular with fluting on four sides. Ring attached to the top with a navy-blue coloured cord. The outer ring is navy-blue and reads "Remenham Club Member 1987". The centre is white with the RC initials in gold. "26 + 1987" is etched onto the reverse.
Two lapel badges made for the Orkney Cottage Boat Club.
The Orkney Cottage Boat Club was a prestigious rowing club throughout the 1880s and 1890s.The badges were made by Hussey and Keymer - Jewellers to the Queen and complete with a box.
The badges are circular in shape, with a clear dome containing a motif of a set of crossed oars, together with a red flag and the letters 'OCBC'. This is mounted on a brass disc which has a crescent shaped attachment hook.
