A watercolour painting, a copy of an original painting by Joseph Farington.
Showing the junction of the river Thames and Severn canal.
The image shows a bridge with a man riding a donkey over it. Behind the bridge is a round tower. The Severn canal flows under the bridge, to meet with the Thames in the background. On the reverse is an apparently unfinished painting of a maritime scene with man'o'war Henley over in pencil and grey wash- possibly by a different artist.
