Bone china plate designed by John Piper in 1978, to commemorate the last firing of a bottle kiln at Gladstone Pottery. Produced by Gladstone Pottery Museum.
White bone china plate with a black and gilt decoration. Black and gilt lines, black dotted line round edge. In the centre is an image of a black firing oven with a white door and gilt edges, gilt smoke leaving the flue.
