Silk scarf belonging to CR Harding, champion of England Match for the Championship of the World and £1000, held on 13th July 1896.
A light brown (possibly originally cream) silk scarf with two printed wide blue borders. the design is printed in old gold, read and blue and consists of two lions rampant, two kangaroos, the flags of the UK and Australia. The red printed lettering reads "C.R. Harding Champion of England Match for the Championship of the World and £1000 13th July 1896"
