Description
Isis & Tamesis, Anne Damer 1784.
These two reliefs are probably the 'casts' of the Henley Bridge keystones, which Anne Damer exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1785 (Reference Numbers 591 & 592).
Tamesis has part of a Greek inscription concealed above his head which may be loosly translated as : Seymour (donor?) of London, made this (image).
