A signed Collectors or photo card, titled 'Peter Michael Kolbe', showing, in monochrome photo, a closeup of the sculler in mid stroke with the sponsors logo at the top. On the reverse the heading Peter Michael Kolbe' and underneath text in German giving his personal details and his career as four-time German world champion single sculler (1975, 1978, 1981, 1983), 1976 Olympic double scull gold medallist. At the bottom 'Foto: Sven Simon'.

His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
