A Collectors card, titled 'The Bar Across the River' , showing, in monochrome lithograph in a comic style, a sculler straddling the stern of his craft, most of which has passed under a low rail across the river. In the bottom right hand corner the words 'Burford Boston'. The reverse is blank. Note this image is part of 12 but not present in this collection, see condition tab.

His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
