A collectors card, titled 'Webster's Boot and Shoe Store' underneath the caption 'The best place in town to trade. A trial will convince you', showing, in a coloured lithogaraph, a sculler oblivious of his course rowing through a flock of ducks towards two fishermen in a boxboat looking towards him in dismay. The reverse is blank. Note there are other copies which are not present in this collection, see below.

Part of the Thomas E. Weil Collection. Thomas E. Weil is a very knowledgeable and respected collector of rowing memorabilia from all over the world. His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
