Cigarette card titled J Beresford Jnr' showing, in colour, a sculler at the catch, under a heading 'Gallahers Cigarettes'. On the reverse is the heading 'British Champions of 1923- series of 75- No.32'-'The Wingfield Sculls' with text describing the race with D.H.Gollan in 1923. On the bottom 'Gallaher Ltd', Belfast and London.

His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
