Cigarette card titled J Beresford Jnr' showing, in sepia photo, a sculler posed forward on his slide in a single. On the reverse is the heading 'Who's Who in Sport (1926)-a Series of 50- No. 47. 'J. Beresford' and underneath text describing Beresfords' achievement in winning the 1926 Wingfield Sculls for the seventh straight time, defeating the Cambridge sculler Collett. Beneath 'Lambert & Butler- England'.

His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
