Cigarette card untitled, showing, in coloured lithograph, a closeup stern view of a sculler being handed an enormous wreath in his single. On the reverse is the heading 'Sulima Bilder - Olympiade 1928- Serie 118 Bild 3' 'Pearce, Sieger im Einer'. Underneath text in German describing the win by Pearce of Australia. On the bottom 'Sulima - Cigarettenfabrik, Dresden - Revue 5 Pf. Toska 4 Pf. Deutschmeister 4 Pf' and details of the albums. (note this is almost identical to 2003.532.1031).

His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
