Cigarette card untitled, showing, in monochrome photo,a sculler forward on his slide in his single. On the reverse the heading 'Sporting Celebrities in Action - A Series of Thirty Six Actual Photoghraphs'-'No. 25'. Underneath text headed 'E Barry' describing how he was World Sculling Champion from 1912 to 1914 and regained it beating A Felton in 1920. At the bottom 'Major Drapkin & Company, a branch of the United Kingdom Tobacco Company, London'.

His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
