Description
A collectors or photo card, untitled, showing, in coloured photo (possibly hand tinted), a single sculler at rest on his oars and waving with his right hand. On the reverse is the heading 'Album Nr. 6- Olympia 1932' -' Bild Nr. 133' and underneath text in German identifying the sculler as Henry Robert (Bobby) Pearce. At the bottom a message from a sponsor, see also 2003.532.1011.

His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
