A collectors or photo card, untitled, showing, in monochrome photo, a double sculls paddling with a large bouquet resting on their boat. On the reverse is the heading 'Sammelwerk Nr.14 - Olympia 1936-Band 11' -'Bild Nr. 105 - Gruppe 61', and underneath text in German identifying the the gold medal English double of J.Beresford and L.Southwood leaving the awards float. At the bottom a message from a sponsor.

His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
