Information card headed 'Sculling' and subtitled 'John B Kelly',and subtitled on the reverse 'Father and Son'. The photograph on the obverse is of John B. Kelly senior who was an American oarsman who won two Olympic gold medals in one day in the 1920 Olympics. His son was also a notable oarsman who rowed in the 1956 Olympics. John B Kelly's daughter became famous as Princess Grace of Monaco.

His extensive collection includes material from many years of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and Henley Royal Regatta. He also lectures and writes on rowing history and is a Trustee of the River and Rowing Museum.
