Rare. Old children’s book. Poor condition. Titled 'Grit, the Young Boatman' , this is the story of a young boy who supported his mother while his stepfather was in prison. He did this by providing a ferry service across the river where he lived. The story is also about his trials when his stepfather is released early from prison.
