Description
Story of master boat builder George Yeoman Pocock. As well as being a innovative boatbuilder he was also a champion oarsman. It tells the story of his life from his birth in Kingston upon Thames in England, through the family's move to Eton, where their father, Aeron, became Master of the Boathouse at Eton College, and the children all developed their rowing skills. In 1910 George and his brother emigrated to British Colombia, eventually moving to Washington State.
