Description
A history to celebrate 100 years of the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race. This book tells of the first race in 1929, which was held on the Thames at Henley,where a crowd of 20,000 watched even thoughthe railways had not yet been built south of Yorkshire. The book was instigated by Sir Theodore Cook of the OUBC, with the assistance of George Drinkwater OUBC and Terence Sanders CUBC.
