Description
Iron Age coin hoard.

32 gold British Iron Age coins and hollow flint nodule, and one silver British Iron Age coin and two Roman coins of Tiberius. The gold coins were all found near Henley-on-Thames within the flint nodule and the silver coins were discovered in the proximity. They were found by a metal detectorist.
The coins have been atributed to the Atrebates tribe due to the design of a three tailed horse over a wheel stamped on one side, and dated to c.50BC.
