"Two royal swans tackle the judge's weeds"
Newspaper cutting (date and publication unknown, appears to be a Cornish newspaper) with article on two swans being acquired by Judge Chope (county court judge for Cornwall and Plymouth) and his wife Pamela, to keep down the weed on their garden lake at Carclew House, south of Truro.
The swans were sent to Truro by train, with the assistance of the Queen's Swan Keeper, John Turk (misspelt as "John Kirk" in the article)
