Two attached letters from C J Johnson writing on behalf of Walton on Thames Town Regatta to Amy Gentry dated 3rd July, 1928. The first is handwritten congratulating Gentry on an article in the Mail and pointing out that she will be the first lady to umpire in an open regatta. The second is typed in blue and discusses plans for Gentry to umpire at the Walton on Thames Regatta 7th July, 1928.
