Description
Two poems, thought to have been written by Eleanor Gait. The first is called 'When Barney the Bow missed the Boat' and the second is untitled.

It is thought that 'When Barney the Bow missed the boat' refers to the English women's crew visiting Australia in 1938 and recounts an amusing story of a crew member having to catch the pilot boat to meet with 'Orama' after missing the departure time.
