Colour slide of the Millennium Dome beside the River Thames in London.
Taken by Anthony Haines in 2000, as part of a photographic commission for the book "The Thames from source to sea" by Paul Atterbury and Anthony Haines. Published in 1998 by Weidenfield & Nicholas. Republished in 2002 by Cassell.
View looks across the river to the white Dome on the opposite bank. Its yellow supports extend out from the roof and Canary Wharf is just to the left with other tall city buildings.
