Newspaper cutting from Oxford Mail, 27 Nov 1954, with photo of F.J. Turk, mentioning his transferral from No.1 (Cricklade to Wallingford) to No.3 (Windsor to Teddington) District of the Thames Conservancy.
Two reports joined together, investigating a flooding problem by raising the head water at Grafton Lock by 8 inches.
The first report is by the Thames Conservancy surveyor to the river engineer, the second report is from the district navigation inspector to his chief inspector.
A copied page from "The Conservancy of the Thames" book of tolls listing bridges and locks from Lechlade to London and the distance in miles and the tolls that they carry.
